the smaller geode is a lot nicer than the pic shows..I just could not get it to photograph properly.

man, at first I thought that Dragon was kinda lackluster, but it's growing on me! Seeing them in person changed my views on alll of 'em!

yeah..they're cool in the pictures, but in person they're ten times better. especially the box set.

they're just sculpted so well, and their wings are all really cool. I love how nearly all of them have semi-transparent wings..I think the only one who doesn't is the berserker clan dragon.

The painted orb looks really good. If you decide to go with something else, you might want to consider a fiber optic sphere:

fiber optic spheres

I think they're available in a variety of sizes.

Although the first has colors close to the dragon, it still is a much better job than the original.

I'm gonna see what I cna find around. Thanks for the ideas though.

That geode is pretty frickin cool !! I think it's pretty neat how many different things people have come up with to replace the original orb. I'd like to see him holding some fire.
